Why it’s “good” to take on an apprentice

Last updated: January 4th, 2012
  • Good for society – helps  a whole generation of young people to become responsible citizens  and a skilled and employable workforce
  • Gives young people a sense of pride in themselves, and a sense of purpose ( rather than being part of a crowd of hooligans in a rampage!!!)
  • Allows for local young people to  be employed and be skilled to “do the job” and stay in their own country.
  • Grow your own talent in your business
  • Train your staff the way you want them
  • Keep continuity of staff and a good mix of young,  maturing and not so young in your organisation so that each can learn from the other
  • Make your business more creative by encouraging   young ideas to come to fruition after you have put your maturer stamp and wisdom on them
  • Good for your reputation as aconcerned adult and business person
